Máighréad Medbh is an Irish poet who was part of the new wave of Irish performance poetry in the 1990s. She has published seven books of poetry. A mixed-genre work, Savage Solitude: Reflections of a Reluctant Loner, was published by Dedalus in 2013. She has also written for radio, and has three novels online as ebooks. Her verse fantasy, Parvit of Agelast (Arlen House, 2016), was shortlisted for the Pigott Prize 2017.
